DMEDD carries out various projects to contribute to the education of future generations. Gastro-diplomacy programme was one of such projects. The closing ceremony of the Gastro-diplomacy Training Programme organised in cooperation with Mogan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School with the support of the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DIAB) and Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Tourism, was held on 9 March 2023.

The Governor of Gölbaşı District, the General Director of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dean and Vice Dean of Tourism of Hacı Bayram Veli University, the Director of National Education of Gölbaşı District, the Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Department of Hacı Bayram Veli University, the trainers of the programme, valuable teachers and students of Mogan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and the members of the DMEDD Board of Directors and Supervisory Board attended the closing ceremony.

After the opening speeches, Kemal Özenç, one of the students who successfully completed the programme, was awarded a scholarship on Turkish cuisine by Le Cordon Bleu Istanbul, and commemorative plaques were presented to all the contributors.

We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the implementation of our training programme, which aims to improve employability and support professional development of young culinary and service students and our current staff.
