After a four-year hiatus, the DMEDD Bazaar held on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at the Sheraton Ankara Hotel drew over 4,500 visitors. We are proud of our dedicated members and scholarship recipients who embody the DMEDD spirit played a crucial role in making this event a big success.

The Bazaar showcased a diverse array of products, thanks to the generous contributions of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from different provinces in Türkiye and from our missions across the globe. Additionally, over 40 foreign missions in Ankara proudly displayed their unique offerings. The African House of Culture, under the patronage of First Lady H.E. Emine Erdoğan, further enriched the event with its dedicated stand.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, the Philippines, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Thailand presented captivating cultural performances on the stage set up in the bazaar area. The very talented State Modern Dance Troupe and Ankara Seymenler Club also presented their magnificent Turkish folkloric dance routines.

The DMEDD Bazaar has become a cherished tradition, fostering an international exchange of cultures while supporting educational and charitable causes. With a commitment to inspiring hope and opportunity, DMEDD has empowered over 3,000 students since its inception. The proceeds from this successful Bazaar will be used to further strengthen our education and scholarship fund and support ongoing educational projects.
